Agricultural
Waste

Waste from the agricultural sector can include organic residue from corn, grains, sugar beet leaves, kiwifruit, citrus, pomace and grapemark. Treating agricultural residuals as a potential source of revenue is a crucial component of modern resource management.

Agricultural crops are often seasonal so in order to ensure regular supply, crop rotation and co-digestion options have been shown to work very well and Waste Solutions have also been involved with storage of feed material using silage technologies. There are also crops which are grown specifically to provide biomass to anaerobic digester and energy production.
